Meet Kim

Hi, I’m Kim Alexandra!

Growing up with a hairdresser mum, I was inspired from a young age. Now, from my cosy home studio in Northern Ireland, I live my hairstyling dream every day. Since embracing my own curls in 2018, I’ve become a UK Curl Specialist and I just LOVE curls!

What do my clients love most? My calming, caring nature and the welcoming environment I create. My goal is for you to feel comfortable, empowered, and confident.

Here are a few fun facts that perfectly captures me:

  • The teal and pink in my logo represent my belief in living life to the fullest – calmness and balance with a touch of joy and playfulness. Inspired by cherry blossoms, which remind us of life’s fleeting beauty and the importance of cherishing each moment.
  • Music is my passion – House, old-school R&B, and Motown are my absolute favourites!
  • When it comes to ice cream, you can’t beat Brook Avenues Wispa Gold.
  • At home, it’s like a mini zoo – I adore animals!
  • My go to cocktail, a delicious Coconut Margarita!

The biggest compliment isn’t a review. It’s wh The biggest compliment isn’t a review. It’s when a bridesmaid comes back as a bride. Fast forward a year, and it was Emily’s turn in the chair. With Esther was there again, this time as one of Emily’s bridesmaids. We started the morning getting ready together at an Airbnb before heading on to Drenagh for the celebrations. It was one of those lovely, calm mornings. Plenty of laughs, plenty of excitement, and everyone just enjoying the moment. For her hair, we kept things classic and timeless. Soft textured curls with a simple half-up style that felt elegant, romantic and completely Emily. And can we talk about that dress @ginasbridalalterations created an absolute dream gown, love a @wisteria_bridal_ni dress. These full-circle wedding moments never get old. Getting to meet someone as a bridesmaid and then being invited back to style them as a bride is always such a privilege. Congratulations, Emily. What a beautiful day.
Throwback to the very first first look I was ever Throwback to the very first first look I was ever part of... I still remember standing there with tears in my eyes watching this beautiful moment unfold. I even had the honour of driving Lauren to meet her wife-to-be before the first look. The excitement, the nerves, the anticipation... and then seeing them finally together. Beautiful. Happy Anniversary @laurenmcwilliams3 & Emma. What a privilege it was to play a tiny part in such a beautiful day.

Honestly, ours ended up feeling less like a photoshoot and more like a really fun date night that happened to be photographed. No pressure. No timeline. No guests. Just the two of us being excited to marry each other and making memories in the middle of this whole bride era. And now we have photos that feel like us instead of overly posed perfect moments.
